Four years after the success of its first edition, the Addiction and Substance Use Summit returned for a second gathering. Nine partners from across the addiction field collaborated to make this second edition possible. The event aligned with the priorities of the Interdepartmental Action Plan on Addiction, which highlights the importance of strengthening knowledge sharing and the exchange of experiences to support their active integration across the addiction sector. Objectives of the Second Summit:
- Review key developments and achievements since the last Summit (2018);
- Identify challenges and priorities for the next four years;
- Inspire participants through the presentation of promising practices, innovative strategies, and solutions to shared challenges;
- Mobilize participants around common goals and collective action;
- Inform and support policy reflection among decision-makers.
